With back-to-school season fast approaching, the cost of new school supplies can add up quickly for many families. Backpacks, in particular, often come with a higher price tag. A Nationwide Philanthropic Effort

Across the country, the event aims to aid as many as 120,000 students with free backpacks. This impact of this giveaway isn’t confined strictly to Columbia, but the Palmetto State will certainly benefit greatly from the program. This large-scale measure to equip students with an essential school supply underlines the company’s commitment towards promoting education and easing the financial burden on families in back-to-school season.

The goal of this initiative by Verizon is not only to distribute free backpacks but also to engage the community in a family-friendly environment, thereby fostering unity and a sense of community spirit. Verizon continues to encourage the pursuit of education, and this backpack giveaway is one of the many ways they are making a positive impact.
