Sunny Lexington Celebrates the Grand Opening of Exciting New Paintball Venue!

Sunny Lexington Welcomes New Paintball Venue!

Hey, Lexington! If you’re looking for a new way to enjoy some outdoor fun with family or friends, we have exciting news for you. Dust off your sneakers because Lexington Paintball has officially opened its doors! Located at 1789 Two Notch Rd., this lively attraction held its soft opening last weekend, and it’s already making a splash in our community.

Meet the Owner

The brain behind this colorful venture is Eli Lykes. An Army veteran and proud lifelong resident of Columbia, Eli wanted to create a place that brings people together. “I wanted to create something for our community to enjoy,” he shared with a smile. And boy, has he succeeded! The goal is simple: gather friends and family for some good-natured competition. “Come out and play, bring the kids, and even business organizations looking for team building opportunities. This is a place for everyone!”

What to Expect

So, what can you expect when you step onto the fields? Lexington Paintball is open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. However, make note—Mondays through Fridays require a reservation while Saturdays and Sundays welcome all players, including those who may not have a specific group. Gather your crew or come solo; Eli welcomes everyone looking for some paint-covered fun!

Currently, they are utilizing about 2.5 acres of their sprawling 15-acre lot with two fully functioning paintball fields. Picture this: 50 to 60 excited people running around in a great game of strategy and teamwork, all while trying not to get covered in vibrant paint! And if you’re itching for more adventure, Eli hinted that there may be plans to expand into a wooded area for an additional field in the future.

No Gear? No Problem!

If you’re new to paintball and don’t own your gear, don’t fret! Lexington Paintball has got you covered. “We provide everything on-site,” Eli explained. From paintball markers to snug protective gear, you can rent everything you need to jump right into the action. Plus, there’s even a selection of merchandise and refreshments available to keep your energy up while you play!

Packages and Pricing

For those curious about the costs, Eli and his team offer a variety of packages to suit different preferences. Whether you’re planning a big group outing or a more intimate gathering with friends, you’ll find affordable options that fit your needs. Group pricing is perfect for team-building events and celebrations. Interested parties can get a full breakdown of packages on their website.

A Warm Welcome

It’s just been a week since the doors opened, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. “Seeing the people booking their reservations and enjoying themselves is incredibly rewarding,” Eli expressed. “We’ve been working hard for 6 to 8 months to bring this to life, and it’s amazing to see it finally happen!”
