This week, the residents of Lexington, South Carolina, were introduced to a new health and wellness hub in their neighborhood. The assisted stretch concept, StretchLab, is set to open a new store in the Lexington Square Shopping Center, situated at 5232 Sunset Blvd., Suite A in Lexington on June 13, 2024.
Operational since 2015, StretchLab aims to provide quality assisted stretching services to all its clients. Its primary goal is to address tightness and imbalances in the body by creating and implementing a unique stretching regimen. This new facility, named StretchLab Lake Murray, is dedicated to promoting body agility and flexibility through one-on-one assisted stretching.
Owners Steve and Stacey Hitzemann, are not new to this business. They have successfully launched five StretchLab facilities since 2019. Along with this grand opening, the duo is planning to add four more studios to their growing franchise within the next two years.
“Stretching caters to everyone, regardless of age, who wants to move freely. With ageing, stiffness and reduced mobility sneak in; StretchLab offers an incredible routine to keep up an active lifestyle,” stated co-owner, Steve Hitzemann. He also added that their new establishment in Lexington is an effort to provide top-tier services to the locals. The clients can look forward to personalized routines that will leave them feeling reenergized.
This new North Carolina location is offering special membership rates to celebrate its opening. Those who will join the StretchLab family by June 15 can avail a lifelong discount. Membership rates are expected to be around 15% less than regular prices during this inaugural period. Moreover, they are also offering free 15-minute stretches at the new studio until the opening weekend. Members can book their spots by calling the studio at 803-632-0108 or reserve online.
StretchLab offers unparalleled assistance through its intensively trained employees, known as Flexologists. Typically, they are often graduates in Exercise Science and Kinesiology, ensuring an understanding of the muscular system and assisted stretching techniques.
Members can choose between a 25-minute targeted stretch for specific muscle groups or a 50-minute full body stretch. The shorter session aims to relieve muscle tightness resulting from a strenuous workout or extended periods at a desk. Meanwhile, the extensive session is designed for individuals with stiff joints or athletes aiming to improve their performance.
