COLUMBIA, S.C. – The wait is over for the fans of exhilarating circus performances as tickets start selling for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s fabulous circus demonstration, “The Greatest Show on Earth”. Columbia city, known for its love of the thrilling, delighting and engaging world of the circus, is set to host this spectacular show at the Colonial Life Arena.

Today, the revival of this celebrated show is again set to enthral audiences with five live performances planned from Feb. 7 to Feb 9, 2025. Showcasing a wealth of talent, this two-hour long extravaganza features 75 performers exhibiting their skills in over 50 breath-taking acts, ensuring an unforgettable encounter for spectators.

Several exhilarating acts are part of this marvellous demonstration, including the triangular highwire and the crisscross flying trapeze. The boundless energy and daring stunts of a BMX bike stunt scene, Human jugglers, and the thrilling ‘Double Wheel of Destiny’ will keep spectators on the edge of their seats. A daring act that includes four performers making somersaults and leaps on two rotating apparatuses hung 30 feet above the ground, offer a flavour of the excitement that awaits circus lovers in Columbia.

The lineup also includes Wesley, the One Wheel Wonder, famously known for his Guinness World Record-setting performance. He rides on the world’s tallest unicycle, standing over 34 feet in height successfully confronting balance and gravity in a captivating delicate display.

Ticket Sale Details

Eager enthusiasts can get their hands on the tickets starting Tuesday, August 27 at 10 a.m. at the official ticket selling partner – Ticketmaster. The initial rush for these tickets is expected to be only available online on August 27. Post the first day of sale, any remaining tickets can be purchased by visiting the Prisma Health Box Office or through Ticketmaster during subsequent ticket Tuesdays.
