Irmo, South Carolina – Mark your calendars, because the holidays are just around the corner, and what better way to kick off the season of fun than with the annual Merchant Treat Trail? Taking place on Wednesday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m., this event promises to fill your evening with family-friendly thrills and countless treats at the Irmo Village Shopping Center located at 7571 Saint Andrews Road.
This year, the Saint Michael Lutheran Church, a proud member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), has teamed up with Craft & Draft Irmo to bring this beloved event to life. As usual, there will be costumed volunteers buzzing around to help distribute sweet treats and exciting prizes, making sure everyone leaves with a smile—and perhaps a little bit of candy in their pocket!
But that’s not all! The event promises to be more than just a trick-or-treating experience. A \fortune teller will be on hand to share some mystical insights for those who dare to ask. Additionally, members of the Irmo Fire District and the Irmo Police Department will join in the festivities to ensure a safe and secure environment for families. And don’t forget: if you’re a parent, there will also be child safety seat checks available, giving you peace of mind as you enjoy the evening.
Costumes are definitely encouraged, so put on your best outfits and get in the spirit! Whether you’re dressing as a classic character, your favorite superhero, or a spooky creature, everyone will appreciate your effort as you wander from business to business.
The Irmo Village Shopping Center is home to a variety of businesses that are excited to participate in the festivities. You’ll find places like Southern Strutt Dance, Legacy Martial Arts, and Carolina Tan Factory, all eager to share treats and possibly even some special deals! Other businesses like RAMCO Framing, Craft & Draft, Drayer Physical Therapy, 360 Security Products, JoLinn’s, The Upper Cut, Kathy’s Kreations, Burn Boot Camp, and Outspokin Bicycles are expected to stay open later than usual, offering exciting specials to light up the evening.
The best part? The Merchant Treat Trail is absolutely free to attend. So bring your family, friends, and even your neighbors out for a night filled with community spirit and enjoyment. Everyone is welcome, and you won’t want to miss out on this wonderful local tradition.
If you have any questions or just want to know more about the event, don’t hesitate to reach out to the church office at 803-781-0229 or send an email to stmichael1816@gmail.com. They’re happy to provide all the information you need!
Get ready to have a blast at the Merchant Treat Trail this October 30th! With treats galore, fun activities, and a chance to meet community helpers, it’s bound to be a night to remember in Irmo!
