Nashville Nights concert series rolls into the week with Gabe Lee performing at Steel Hands Brewing. The event is free to attend and starts at 6 p.m.
Independence Day Celebration at the Icehouse Amphitheater kicks off the 4th of July festivities early with the 246 Army Band performance followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
The comedic play, Dixie’s Tupperware Party, showcases the alternative uses of the iconic kitchen staple at the Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College at 7.30 p.m.
The Pinehill Ramblers grace the Bill’s Music Shop & Pickin’ Parlor with their classic bluegrass from 8 p.m. Admission is a $10 donation.
Chayz Lounge and vocalist Brittany Turnipseed presents “A Soulful Birthday Soiree”, where Brittany will perform hits by soul music legends such as Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin. Dressy attire is required for this event.
4th of July Celebration continues in Lexington County with Lake Murray’s fireworks show. Best viewing locations are from a boat.
Colonial Forts Tour at 12,000 Year History Park, reveals the fascinating history of The Battle of Congaree Creek.
Lexington County Peach Festival returns to Gilbert Community Park where the public can enjoy a peach parade, a car show, live music, arts & crafts vendors, peach pageants, and fresh peaches. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and is free to attend.
Baseball & Fireworks Show at Lexington County Baseball Stadium starts with a game between the Blowfish and Glowfish at 7:05 p.m., followed by a fireworks display.
4th Of July Lunch Cruise on Lake Murray sets sail at noon. The cruise offers a lunch menu and a full bar.
On Friday, June 28, there’s Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, and The Beatles themed music and light show, Friday Night Laser Lights, at the SC State Museum.
The famous production “Rent,” comes to Newberry at The Ritz Theatre on Friday, June 28.
