Irmo Fire District Firefighters, Alongside Multiple Departments, Tackle 2-Alarm Abandoned Apartment Fire

In The Early Morning Of Thursday, A Desolate Apartment Engulfed In Flames Was Extinguished By Firefighters

Firefighters from the Irmo Fire District teamed up with units from the City of West Columbia Fire Department, Columbia Fire Department, and Lexington County Fire Service on Thursday, March 21, 2024, to combat a dangerous two-alarm fire at an abandoned apartment building.

The empty apartment complex was situated in the 200 block of Berryhill Road in the vicinity of the St. Andrews Road area of the county.
