The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission is gearing up to host two family-friendly events next week. Scheduled on Saturday, April 13th, the vibrant welcoming atmosphere at the Seven Oaks Park will see both an indoor yard sale and a Kite Day.
The indoor yard sale will run from 8:30am to 2:00pm, offering attendees an excellent opportunity to discover unique finds and possible hidden gems. A wonderful occasion for savvy bargain hunters, the yard sale also allows individuals who wish to declutter their homes to set up stalls and sell their wares.
Spaces for sellers start at $15 and go up to $35, with tables provided for convenience. Whether residents are in search of intriguing treasures or desire to part ways with items no longer needed, the indoor yard sale promotes the recycling of goods and offers a bargain for everyone.
Running parallel to the yard sale, the Kite Day at the Park will commence at 11:00am and last until 3:00pm. At a nominal cost of $6 per person, participants will receive a colorable kite that they can personally decorate and set flight in the beautiful park.
Kite Day aligns perfectly with the onset of spring and offers families a delightful outdoor activity. As kites dance and swirl in the clear blue sky, the park is set to be colored in joy, spectacle, and laughter.
The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission welcomes locals and visitors alike to participate in these engaging events. The dual-event day aims to create a space for community interaction, allowing people to sell, buy, meet neighbors, enjoy the outdoors, and engage in a fun-filled, memorable day at the park.
The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission is dedicated to providing quality recreational opportunities that contribute to the overall wellness of the community. They host a variety of events throughout the year aiming to promote active and healthy lifestyles while bringing the community together.
These events presented by the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission are a perfect encapsulation of the charm and community spirit of life in Irmo. There is much excitement surrounding the activities planned for April 13th, and all who participate are in for superb deals and soaring fun.
