As the night progressed, Conley Harne stepped up for the Tigers, hitting a crucial 20-yard field goal that propelled his team to a 31-28 victory. In another nail-biter, the Vikings secured a 15-14 win with a last-minute touchdown and a successful two-point conversion.
Other notable scores included the Maroons defeating Cedar Falls 41-21 and the Dragons maintaining a solid lead of 35-0 over Waterloo West at halftime.
