Timberlake Plantation Owners Association (TPOA) was founded in March 1987 and consists of 321 home sites. TPOA is comprised of 4 neighborhoods along the shore of beautiful Lake Murray; Club Pointe, Fairway Oaks, Fairway Ridge and Plantation Summit. Lake Murray is often referred to as the; “Crown Jewel” of South Carolina. It is a man-made 47,500-acre reservoir with approximately 540 miles of shoreline. The lake provides recreational opportunities for homeowners as well as thousands of visitors each year. The lake is home to an estimated 20,000 lakefront and lake access residents. In addition to being on Lake Murray, our neighborhood also has the beautiful Timberlake Golf Course meandering throughout our community and along Lake Murray. Timberlake Golf Course is the only golf course situated on the shore of Lake Murray.
Governors Grant, a Chapin, SC neighborhood, is located just off Old Chapin Road near the intersection of Old Chapin and Old Cherokee Road. Governors Grant homes range in price from the low $300’s to $700’s and offer homes from 2,400 square feet to more than 6,000 square feet.
