This past Saturday, various high schools in Houston showcased some intense football action. The games were thrilling, with teams putting their best foot forward on the field. Here’s a rundown of the results from the weekend.
Aldine Eisenhower dominated their matchup against Aldine, securing a firm 14-0 victory. In another standout performance, Cypress Bridgeland overwhelmed Cypress Ranch, rolling to a convincing 41-3 win.
Cypress Falls and Cypress Fairbanks engaged in a high-scoring thriller, with Cypress Falls coming out on top, 45-37. Houston Heights also had a strong showing against Houston MSTC, finishing the game with a score of 58-6.
On the other hand, Houston Lamar displayed their strength as they claimed a decisive 42-14 victory over Houston Bellaire. Klein Cain took care of Tomball as well, managing a solid 27-12 win.
Elsewhere, in San Antonio, Northside Brandeis proved victorious with a resounding 51-7 win against Roosevelt. Meanwhile, Northside Marshall secured a competitive 37-27 win over Northside Holmes.
Crosby faced off against New Caney Porter in a tough match, ultimately winning 49-26. Fort Bend Kempner also had a successful day, defeating Pasadena with a score of 48-21.
In a closely contested game, Iowa Colony narrowly defeated Rosenberg Terry, with a score of 37-36. Mercedes impressed with a huge win against Brownsville Porter, finishing 56-13.
In Fort Worth, Southwest beat Western Hills by a score of 35-14, while Houston Furr took care of business against Houston North Forest, winning 35-15. Houston Kashmere showcased their skills with a decisive 38-6 victory over Houston Scarborough, and Worthing shut out Houston Wheatley with a score of 31-0.
Yates also had a remarkable performance, blanking Houston Washington 45-0. The Austin Royals achieved a solid 39-23 win against the Fort Bend Chargers, and Harvest Christian Academy-Lantana left no room for Melissa CHANT, finishing 52-0.
In an exciting display, Houston Emery/Weiner School managed to outscore Houston Westbury Christian, providing a final score of 76-48. Longview Heritage defeated Greenville Christian 42-26, while Tomball Homeschool dominated Acadiana Christian, La., with an enormous win of 69-0. Lastly, Tyler Grace Community emerged victorious over Arlington Grace Prep, finishing with 24-0.
Unfortunately, the game between Fort Bend Crawford and Stafford was postponed, but the excitement continues as the high school football season progresses.
