High School Sports Roundup: Key Basketball Matchups in Cincinnati

This past week in Cincinnati sports, several high school basketball games showcased strong performances across various teams. Here’s a recap of the most notable matchups.

West Clermont defeated Little Miami with a score of 63-48. West Clermont’s impressive offensive show saw Hale leading the way with 27 points, while Dalraine of Little Miami scored 24 points but couldn’t carry the team to victory. The halftime score favored West Clermont at 34-25.

In another competitive game, Oak Hills emerged victorious against Seton with a final score of 49-39. Kammerer proved to be a key player, scoring 22 points, while Seton’s Hess contributed 15 points. Oak Hills maintained a slim halftime lead of 25-21.

Ursuline Academy continued to build momentum by defeating Hamilton 48-33. Garza was a standout player for Ursuline, scoring 25 points, helping them to a halftime lead of 23-19 before securing the win.

Mason faced Lakota West and came away with a 51-37 victory. Star player Parrish was instrumental, scoring 26 points to seal the win for Mason, which has an unblemished 6-0 record this season.

In a nail-biter game, Woodward managed to outlast Wilmington with a close score of 59-56, with strong performances from Gee and Acoff leading the team.

Additionally, Mason took a strong lead in their conference with a solid performance against Walnut Hills, winning 39-34. M. Chadwell and G. Chadwell each made significant contributions to the victory.

Local high school teams continue to showcase their talent as the season progresses. Fans can look forward to more exciting games and remarkable athlete performances in the upcoming weeks.
