Columbia Celebrates Sellout Crowd for Gamecock Women’s Basketball Match Against Tennessee

The University of South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office has announced that the upcoming Gamecock women’s basketball game against Tennessee on March 3rd has officially sold out. This marks the fifth sellout of the season and adds to the Gamecocks’ NCAA-leading attendance average of 16,381.

Excitement Builds for Sunday Showdown

With the sellout, Colonial Life Arena will open its doors at 10:30 a.m. for the highly anticipated noon tipoff, which will be broadcast on ESPN. University faculty/staff can still secure admission using their Carolina Card on a first-come, first-served basis, while a limited number of student tickets remain up for grabs.

Convenient Shuttle Service and Special Initiatives

To ease traffic and parking challenges on game day, a free parking shuttle will operate from Founders Park. Fans can park at the Williams Street and Blossom lot for free and catch the shuttle to Colonial Life Arena between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Honoring a Basketball Legend

The Gamecocks and Lady Vols will pay tribute to the late Nikki McCray-Penson, honoring her enduring legacy. In addition, Prisma Health’s mammogram truck will be available at the arena from 10 a.m. to noon for screenings every 15 minutes. Fans can schedule appointments via PrismaMyChart or by calling 803-434-3300.

Senior Day Celebrations and Giveaways

Prior to the game, South Carolina women’s basketball will recognize its seniors in a special ceremony starting at approximately 11:40 a.m. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Senior Day giveaway, and rally towels will be distributed at the arena doors.
