This past Friday night was an exciting time for high school sports fans in Michiana as local football teams took to the field for some thrilling matchups. With the lights shining bright, several schools showcased their talent and determination in various games.
In a close battle, Elkhart managed to edge past Penn with a narrow score of 7 to 3. The game was intense and kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.
New Prairie had a strong showing against Mishawaka Marian, winning decisively with a score of 42 to 28. Meanwhile, South Bend Saint Joseph dominated South Bend Riley, shutting them out with a score of 29 to 0.
Other significant games included South Bend Adams defeating South Bend Washington 49 to 20. In a shutout, Concord triumphed over Goshen with a score of 49 to 0. Warsaw also secured a win against Mishawaka with a score of 21 to 13.
In another exciting game, Northridge took control against Wawasee, finishing with a score of 44 to 15. Knox had a solid performance as they defeated Jimtown 41 to 28.
Teams like LaVille and John Glenn encountered tough matches, with LaVille pulling ahead 17 to 7. Tippecanoe Valley had a strong showing against Western, ending the game at 31 to 14.
