Fall Book Sale at Irmo Branch Library – Time to Stock Up!

Hello, dear book lovers of Irmo! We hope you’re all staying cozy as the cooler weather rolls in. If you’ve been looking for something to do, or if you just want to add some great reads to your collection, we’ve got some exciting news for you! The Friends of the Irmo Branch Library is hosting their annual Fall Book Sale from October 10 to 12 at the library located at 6251 St. Andrews Road. It’s the perfect opportunity to grab some wonderful books at a fantastic price!

Sale Schedule

Here’s the deal: there will be a special members-only sale on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. This is your chance to get first dibs on all the treasures available!
Not a member yet? No worries! You can join at the door for just $10. It’s a small fee for the early access and all the bookish benefits that come along!

After the members-only time, the doors swing open to the public:

  • Thursday, Oct. 10 from 2 – 5 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 12 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Please note that there will be no sales on Sunday.

What You Can Expect

You’re in for a treat! Most of the books at this sale are priced from just 50 cents to $2, making it incredibly easy to pick up a stack without breaking the bank. And if you’re a big reader, make sure to check out the bag sale option—you can fill a bag for a flat price. Plus, members get a special discount on bag purchases!

Not only will you find some delightful paperbacks and hardcovers, but there will also be CDs and DVDs for those who enjoy a good film or some tunes! Additionally, there’s a fantastic collection of children’s books gathered from recent donation events, so it’s a great chance to stock up for the little ones.

Support Your Library

Every penny you spend helps fund programs, services, and materials at the Irmo Branch Library. Plus, you’ll have the option to purchase Friends T-shirts and tote bags to show your support!

A Community Effort

The Friends of the Irmo Branch Library is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing library services. They work tirelessly to create a vibrant community hub through events like this and other programs that encourage reading and learning amongst all ages.
