In Maple Grove, high school basketball fans were treated to a thrilling night as local teams battled on the court. The Math & Science team delivered a commanding performance, defeating AFSA with a jaw-dropping score of 100-24. Meanwhile, the Metropolitan area saw Heritage Christian easily beat Mounds Park Academy with a score of 94-52. It was a night of impressive showings from multiple schools.
Another stand-out game featured Mpls. North, who edged out Hiawatha Collegiate in a nail-biter, finishing 73-69. On the broader Minnesota scene, the competition heated up with BOLD clinching a close victory over New Ulm Cathedral 68-59. The excitement didn’t end there as Byron beat Austin decisively with a score of 76-62.
In girls basketball, Goodhue had a fantastic game against Fillmore Central, winning with a score of 85-45. As teams continue to push for playoffs, every point matters. Over in hockey, boys’ teams showcased their skills as Edina dominated Chanhassen with an impressive 8-3 finish.
As the seasons progress, the performances from these athletes are sure to excite both fans and fellow students. Schools across Minnesota are rallying to support their teams and celebrate their successes on the court and rink. With playoffs looming, every game counts more than ever.
