Hey there, Lexington! If you’re looking for some action-packed fun, you’re in for a treat. A brand new adventure awaits you at Lexington Paintball, which just had its soft opening last weekend! Nestled at 1789 Two Notch Rd., this place is all about bringing people together for a friendly game of paintball.
The brains behind this awesome venture is none other than Eli Lykes, a retired Army veteran and a proud resident of Columbia. Eli mentioned that the idea sprouted from a desire to create something enriching for the community. He emphasizes, “Come out and play, bring the kids and family members, business organizations who would like to do team-building events… this is something for all different age groups.”
How cool is that? So whether you’re a family looking for weekend excitement or a team from work wanting to bond in a whole new way, Lexington Paintball is the spot for you!
Lexington Paintball is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but here’s the catch. On Mondays through Fridays, the place operates on a reservations-only basis. But come Saturday and Sunday, individual players and groups can just show up and dive right into the action. It’s a great way to meet new friends and enjoy some thrilling competition!
Right now, the facility is utilizing about 2.5 acres of its total 15-acre land, featuring two operational paintball fields. You can expect to see around 50-60 players on the field at once, so there’s plenty of room for fun. And who knows? If things go well, Eli hinted they might set up another field in the wooded area of the property in the future! Exciting stuff!
If you’re new to paintball and don’t own your gear, no worries! You can rent everything you need right on-site. Eli assures that they provide paintball markers and protective gear for everyone, so just come as you are and get ready to play! Plus, they have some delightful merchandise and refreshments to keep your energy up while you’re out there battling it out.
Worried about the costs? They’ve got you covered with various packages to cater to everyone’s preferences. If you’re planning on going with a group, group pricing is also available. You can check all the details on their website, LexingtonPaintball.com, so pricing and options are literally just a click away!
Although Lexington Paintball has only been open for about a week, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Eli shared, “It’s very exciting, just to see the people booking with their reservations and seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they come out. It’s a good feeling.” He also mentioned that it took them about six to eight months of hard work to finally bring this dream to life.
If you’re eager to give it a try, booking a reservation is super easy! Just hop onto the website or you can give them a call at (803) 661-0440. And don’t forget to keep an eye on their Facebook page for any updates and fun stuff happening at the paintball park!
So, Lexington community, are you ready to take your weekends to the next level? Grab your friends, family, or colleagues, and come get your paintball game on at Lexington Paintball. We can’t wait to see you out there!
