Exciting High School Football and Basketball Matchups Leave Fans Thrilled in Covington

In Cincinnati, high school basketball action heated up this week with several exciting games on the schedule. One of the standout performances came from the St. Henry team, who demonstrated their strength in a dominant victory over the Cincinnati Trailblazers, winning the game with a score of 62-30. St. Henry’s scoring was led by McIntire, who contributed 13 points, and Reis, who added another 11 points to their tally. The Ravenscraft twins also showcased their shooting skills, combining for 2 three-pointers each. The halftime score of 38-16 clearly reflected St. Henry’s control over the game.

In another exciting matchup, Beechwood overcame Grant County with a final score of 61-47. Beechwood’s balanced scoring helped them maintain their composure throughout the game. Meanwhile, Highlands also brought their A-game, defeating Scott 77-62, showing their strength early in the season.

In the girls’ league, Notre Dame secured a solid win against St. Ursula with a score of 52-35. Holtzapfel was a standout, netting 20 points for Notre Dame. The halftime score of 30-12 highlighted their dominance in the first half.

Other notable games included Middletown narrowly defeating Anderson 50-48 in a tight contest, while Shroder managed to hold off Northwest with a score of 49-32.
