Hey, Columbia! If you’re looking for a way to beat the heat and let out some steam, we’ve got some exciting news to share. A brand new paintball facility has officially opened its doors right here in town, and it’s ready to offer a fun escape for friends and families alike!
Located at 1789 Two Notch Rd., Lexington Paintball held its soft opening last weekend and already seems to be making waves. The brainchild behind this vibrant new venture is Eli Lykes, a retired Army veteran who has always called Columbia home. Eli’s vision for the business was simple: create a fun space that brings the community together, promoting outdoor activity and camaraderie.
If you’ve ever thought about playing paintball, now’s your chance! Eli encourages everyone to come out and experience the thrill: “Bring the kids, bring family members, or even organize a team-building event for your business. Paintball is suitable for all ages!” How awesome is that?
Lexington Paintball is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the week, the facility operates on a reservations-only basis, while weekends welcome individual players and groups ready for some fun on the field. Currently, about 2.5 acres of the 15-acre property is being utilized with two operational paintball fields, and each field can accommodate around 50-60 players. And who knows? As the business grows, Eli is considering adding another field nestled in the wooded area of the property.
For those who may be new to the game and don’t have their own gear, there’s no need to worry! Lexington Paintball offers equipment rentals right on-site, which includes paintball markers and protective gear to ensure everyone’s safety while they’re having a blast. Additionally, you can grab some merchandise and refreshments while you’re there to keep your energy up!
Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned paintball player, you’ll love the variety of packages offered. Group pricing is also available, making it easy for friends, families, or coworkers to enjoy a day out together. You can find all the details about the available packages on their website, so check it out!
Though Lexington Paintball has only been open for a short period, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Eli shared his excitement, saying, “It’s very thrilling to see people making reservations and hearing the laughter and excitement as they experience paintball for the first time. After working hard for the past six to eight months to make this happen, it’s rewarding to finally see it come to life!”
If you’re eager to try out paintball for yourself, booking a spot is super easy! You can reserve online through the Lexington Paintball website or give them a call at (803) 661-0440. Don’t forget to check out their Facebook page too for updates, promos, and more information!
So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends and family, get ready for a thrilling day out, and make some colorful memories at Lexington Paintball right here in Columbia! With paint splatters and laughter in the air, this is sure to be the start of a fantastic new adventure.
