Hey Columbia! Exciting news has just landed in our vibrant city! No Name Deli, well-loved for its fast and fresh food, has officially opened its second location right here in Forest Acres. That’s right! The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place this Tuesday, celebrating the expansion of a local favorite that’s been a hit at their original spot.
For those unfamiliar, owners Chris Davis and Jon Sears are the talented pair behind this tasty venture. These two have quite an impressive resume, owning other local favorites like Hendrix and Jake’s, plus several commercial properties around Five Points, Devine St, and downtown. They are no strangers to the culinary scene, and they’re excited about this new chapter!
As they welcomed guests into the new deli, Sears shared, “Expanding No Name Deli has been a long-term goal for us, and we’re excited to join the Forest Acres community.” It’s clear they’re thrilled about this expansion while keeping the essence of what made the original deli so special. “While we’re thrilled to grow this brand, our commitment to quality and the welcoming, laid-back atmosphere that our guests know and love remains the same,” he added. That’s what we love to hear! They’ve worked hard to create a space that feels both fresh and familiar.
You can find the new No Name Deli at 4712-A Forest Drive, right across the street from Lowe’s Foods and Tako Sushi Forest Acres, and just a block away from Pasta Fresca. The deli boasts a spacious 1,750 square foot area, and parking is available behind the building, making it easy-peasy for all you diners out there! With forty parking spaces shared with neighboring businesses like the renovated Salon 2000 and Jackie’s Tailoring, getting to your meal doesn’t have to be stressful.
For those who love al fresco dining, the deli features a lovely patio area, as well as indoor seating by a long, open-concept kitchen counter. This design keeps the quick service that No Name Deli is known for front and center. Inside, you’ll also find a colorful mural done by the talented Girls Who Paint Murals. This unique wall art adds a splash of personality to the deli, echoing the funky vibes of the original location’s postcard mural.
The excitement doesn’t just come from the deli owners either! Mayor Thomas Andrews expressed his delight at the new addition to Forest Acres, saying, “We’re thrilled to welcome No Name Deli to Forest Acres, adding to the exciting growth and development we’re seeing in our community.” His enthusiasm for supporting local businesses shines through. He believes this expansion will significantly enhance the quality of life for residents and add to the blooming dining scene in the area.
Both No Name locations are open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., perfect for lunch breaks and quick bites. So, whether you’re in the mood for a delicious sandwich, fresh salads, or a tasty treat, No Name Deli has got your cravings covered!
As Columbia continues to grow and evolve, we can’t wait to see how this new location becomes a treasured part of the community. So, let’s get out there and support our local businesses! Who’s ready to dig into some yummy food at the new No Name Deli?
