Columbia Prepares for an Enchanting Season with Fireflies Holiday Lights Spectacular

Columbia Gears Up for the Fireflies Holiday Lights Spectacular!

It’s that magical time of year again, Columbia! Segra Park is buzzing with excitement as the beloved Fireflies Holiday Lights returns for another festive season. Set to kick off on November 15th and running until January 4th, this year promises to be bigger than ever! With new attractions lighting up the night and a focus on family fun, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Mark Your Calendars for Ticket Sales!

Starting Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., you’ll be able to snag those highly anticipated tickets to the show! Last year, over 30,000 guests flocked to Segra Park to experience this illuminating spectacle, and it’s clear just how quickly this event is becoming a cherished holiday tradition for many in the Midlands.

“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back for our Fireflies Holiday Lights,” said Team President Brad Shank. “This year, we want to continue to add more fun, more activities, and even more lights. We will continue to show Columbia how much fun they can have in the winter at a ballpark.”

New Igloos on the Infield!

If you’re looking for a unique experience, don’t miss out on the new ‘Igloos on the Infield’ VIP package! Imagine sitting amid the shimmering lights while enjoying delicious food with your loved ones. Each igloo accommodates six guests and includes a charcuterie board, bottomless hot chocolate and coffee, six bottled waters, and a dozen fresh baked cookies! Yes, you read that right!

For those looking to kick back with a beverage, you’ll also be able to purchase beer, wine, and canned cocktails served straight to your igloo. The igloo experience runs from 6 to 9 p.m. each night for a cost of $180, which includes six general admission tickets. Sounds pretty perfect for a cozy night out!

Delicious Treats Await!

This year, you can expect more mouth-watering treats at the concession stands, including freshly baked cookies, hearty bowls of homemade chili, and warm chicken noodle soup. And let’s not forget about s’mores! You can grab them individually or opt for the family four-pack for a lovely evening treat around the fire pits along the Crescent Patio.

Exciting Activities for All Ages!

And what’s a holiday celebration without a few activities to bring the family together? This year’s lineup includes classic favorites such as writing letters to Santa at the Lexington Medical Center Be Well Picnic Pavilion and picking up scavenger hunt cards at Dukes Investigations Guest Services. Don’t forget the free crafting sessions in the MUSC Health Conference Room, and the delightful rides around the concourse in the Thermal Technologies Fireflies Express.

Ticket Prices and Important Dates

In terms of ticket pricing, the great news is that prices will stay the same as last year! Tickets are $10 in November and $12 in December and January. Just a quick heads-up: Fireflies Holiday Lights will be closed on a few key dates, including November 18-21, November 28, December 25, and January 1.
