Cincinnati High School Football: West Clermont Stays Undefeated, Milford and Lakota West Secure Wins

This past week, high school basketball games were held with some exciting performances across various schools. In West Clermont, the boys’ team faced off against Turpin and came away with a decisive victory, winning 65-22. West Clermont improved their record to 7-0 and 4-0 in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC). Key contributors in this game included Fender, who scored 19 points, and Hale, who added 15 points. Despite the loss, Turpin’s Carrelli managed to score 10 points for his team.

Milford also enjoyed a solid win against Loveland, defeating them 50-25. Milford raised their record to 4-1 with Shuluga leading the score with 16 points. The game was competitive in the first half, but Milford pulled ahead with a strong offensive performance in the latter stages. Loveland struggled to find their rhythm, with Dancy scoring just 5 points.

In another close match, Lakota West managed to narrowly defeat Sycamore 48-46. The standout player for Lakota West was Fox, who led all scorers with 20 points. The game remained tight throughout, but Lakota West held onto their lead from the first half to secure the win.

Other notable games included Goshen‘s victory over New Richmond with a score of 60-33 and Wyoming defeating Roger Bacon 50-35. Fenwick and Mt. Healthy also enjoyed comfortable wins with scores of 61-30 and 63-25, respectively.

In local bowling action, Mercy McAuley took the lead against Mason with a score of 2204-2137, while Walnut Hills defeated Anderson 2191-1994. Each school’s records and leaders showcased impressive individual performances, highlighting the talent present in the local league.

The community eagerly anticipates more action as the season progresses, and teams continue to vie for top positions in their respective conferences.
