Midlands Homebuilder Birch Home Builders Leases Office Space in Irmo

In a notable commercial real estate transaction, Midlands-based Birch Home Builders has secured a lease for office space in Irmo. Mary Winter Teaster from Colliers South Carolina represented RB Todd Properties in the lease of a 1,547-square-foot office building at 7436 Broad River Road to the homebuilder.

Notably, Teaster had previously assisted RB Todd Properties in the purchase of the office building earlier in the year, and was subsequently hired as the leasing agent to find a suitable tenant.

Founded in 2020, Birch Home Builders is a locally owned custom home builder. The company takes pride in providing the efficiencies and processes of track home building with the superior quality finishes of a custom builder.

“The Property Owner’s Association restrictions limited the range of potential tenants for the building,” said Teaster. “We utilized all available marketing tools to attract the largest pool of professional prospects possible. Considering the location and the building’s features, Birch Home Builders emerged as an ideal fit.”
