Have you been looking for a furry friend to add a little joy to your life? Well, look no further than the delightful duo of kittens, Amy and Garland, who are currently seeking their forever home at Pawmetto Lifeline!
Amy and Garland are a bonded pair of female kittens who are around 4 to 5 months old. Their journey to find a loving home began when a compassionate Good Samaritan discovered them and three other tiny, sick strays. At such a young age, these kittens faced serious health challenges, and the team at Pawmetto Lifeline wasn’t sure if they would pull through.
Luckily, fate smiled upon them when a fantastic foster mom stepped in to save the day! She took these little ones into her home, providing them with the care and nurturing they desperately needed. Watching the kittens blossom under her care is nothing short of a miracle, showcasing the profound impact that fostering can have on the lives of these animals.
Despite their incredible recovery, Amy and Garland have faced some hurdles due to upper respiratory infections they suffered as newborns. These infections left lasting marks on their eyes. Amy is slated for an eye removal due to a corneal rupture, while Garland’s eye is still being monitored, but it may just be scarred. The good news? They’re not bothered at all by these differences!
In the world of animals, looks don’t define them. Amy and Garland don’t know that their eyes are different from those of other kittens. They embody resilience and joy, proving that a little challenge doesn’t slow them down in the slightest!
Currently, these playful kittens are living it up at Pawmetto Lifeline, where they have taken over the Administrative Offices and provided plenty of entertainment for the staff. They are incredibly sweet, loving, and have a zest for life that’s simply infectious!
If you’re looking to be entertained, just watch Garland as she carries her toys around with her—a sight that is sure to bring a smile to your face! Both Amy and Garland love to be held and snuggled, relishing every bit of affection they can get. After exhausting playtime, you can find them curling up in your lap for a well-deserved nap. What could be better than a purring kitten in your arms?
If you’ve fallen in love with the idea of adopting these sweet sisters, you can meet them during Pawmetto Lifeline’s walk-in adoption hours. They are available on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. If you’d prefer a quieter visit, you can also schedule an appointment during the week.
Amy and Garland are an absolute steal at a reduced adoption fee of just $50. This fee covers their spay/neuter procedures, microchips, and up-to-date vaccinations, making it easier for you to bring home a new best friend!
Before you head over, make sure to complete an adoption application online so that you’re ready to welcome these kittens into your life. You can find the application on the Pawmetto Lifeline website.
Adopting a pet like Amy and Garland not only gives them a second chance at life but also enriches your own in ways you wouldn’t imagine. If you have room in your heart and home for these affectionate kittens, don’t wait too long—these furry friends are sure to steal your heart!
