What’s on the Agenda?

The fun starts with an open house at 4 p.m., where attendees can drop by and learn more about what WaterSC is all about. Then, at 6 p.m., there will be a public comment session. This is where folks can speak up and share their thoughts on how South Carolina should be managing its precious water resources. Why Is Water Management Important?

To tackle these challenges, Governor Henry McMaster issued an executive order last year to create WaterSC. The Water Resources Working Group, which was formed a while back on September 24, 2024, is hard at work crafting a comprehensive state water plan.
