The much-anticipated 2024 fall sports season has officially begun in Vermont, with a flurry of exciting games and close competitions across various sports including soccer, field hockey, volleyball, golf, and cross-country running.

This week saw some thrilling soccer match-ups. In a close contest, Merrimack edged out Vermont with a score of 3-2. Sage Babey, Rachel Bjorgan, and Chloe Goofers each netted a goal for Merrimack, while Vermont received goals from Natalie Zarcone and Lara Beecher.
