Sharp Business Systems South Carolina Branch Named as a 2024 Best Place to Work

Company’s Dedication to Corporate Culture and Employee Experience Recognized

MONTVALE, N.J. – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), part of the global tech giant Sharp Electronics Corporation, is delighted to announce that its South Carolina branch has been named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina in 2024.

The stalwart electronics company’s notable place on the list can be attributed to its strong emphasis on employee satisfaction, competitive remuneration packages, and a work-life balance that underscores the company’s regard for its staff.

Recognition by the Best Places to Work in South Carolina Program

The highly-regarded Best Places to Work in South Carolina program, now in its 18th year, is a partnership between Best Companies Group that sets out to honor the state’s top employers. The prestigious recognition not only benefits the individual businesses but also bolsters the state’s economy and labor force.

SIICA was one of 108 companies recognized this year. Tommy Pickens, General Manager of SBS South Carolina’s Branch, credited the honor to the dedication of the Sharp team and their continuous efforts to create an inclusive, innovative and customer-centric work environment.

“Our commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration, respect and continuous learning is what set us apart and made Sharp a true community where everyone can thrive and succeed. We’re proud of this achievement and will continue to elevate what it means to be a Best Place to Work in the state,” said Pickens.

Methodology of Selection

A thorough two-part survey process was involved in determining the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. Companies’ workplace policies, practices, principles, systems, and demographics were first evaluated. Following this, an employee survey was conducted to gauge the employee experience. The combined scores from these two phases determined the top companies and their ranking.

Details of the ranking will be made available online in August, with an in-person awards ceremony slated for August 22, 2024, at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The rankings will also be published in the September issues of several regional business journals and reports.
