On October 25, the Courage Center hosted Save A Life Day in the parking lot of Kimbrell’s Furniture, aiming to spread awareness and provide resources about substance misuse and overdose prevention.
What Happened at Save A Life Day?

The event featured the distribution of about 25 Narcan kits, a vital antidote that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose. This initiative is part of a broader effort to equip the community with the tools necessary to respond to substance misuse emergencies.
Staff members from the Courage Center were on hand to share valuable information, answering questions and addressing concerns related to substance misuse, addiction, and how to use Narcan effectively.
