RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Local law enforcement authorities have confirmed that a high-speed chase on the weekend concluded in a crash. The chase purportedly began around 4:30 PM on Saturday, with Highway Patrol officers attempting to carry out a traffic stop on a car near Forest Drive. Instead of pulling over, the car management to speed away, sparking the commencement of a pursuit.

The suspect led Highway Patrol troopers and Richland County deputies on an intense high-speed chase, which finally concluded when the suspect’s vehicle collided near the Winslow subdivision, situated off Clemson road. Despite the nature of the crash, no injuries were reported at the scene, according to the deputies.
