Mountlake Terrace and Meadowdale Achieve Big Wins in High School Basketball
Mountlake Terrace, WA – In a strong showing on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, the Mountlake Terrace basketball team dominated Marysville Getchell with a final score of 58-22. The game started off with Mountlake Terrace leading 17-5 in the first quarter, and they continued to build on that lead throughout the match. Their scoring by quarter went as follows: 17-13-15-13.
Leading the charge for Mountlake Terrace was Jaliyah Dyson, who scored an impressive 19 points. She was well supported by Samiah Coffee with 11 points and Iman Kaifa, adding 10 points. Other contributors included Emma Schmidt with 8 points and Jordyn Stokes with 5. While the loss leaves Marysville Getchell searching for their first win of the season, they were led in scoring by Emma Kirkwood who had 12 points.

Other notable players included Audrey Lucas with 12 points and Kyairra Roussin contributing 9 points. The scoring breakdown showed Meadowdale leading significantly after every quarter.
