Lexington is about to welcome a shiny new addition to its dining scene, and food enthusiasts can’t wait! A brand-new modern steakhouse concept is set to open its doors at 101 W. Main St. Suite 200 in January 2025, filling the space once occupied by Alodia’s Italian Restaurant. If you’ve been missing a delightful steak experience, your prayers may soon be answered!
This exciting project is being spearheaded by a trio of passionate restauranteurs from the Midlands area. They bring a wealth of experience and a love for good food that is hard to beat. You might have heard of Steve Cook, who owns popular spots like Saluda’s, Il Bucato Pizza, and Arroyo Tacos & Tequila in Columbia. Then there’s Joe Walker, a U.S. Army combat veteran who knows how to manage multiple locations, including Marco’s Pizza, Molto Vino, and Scooter’s Coffee. Last but definitely not least is Ryan Jones, the former general manager of Columbia’s Hall’s Chophouse, who adds a treasure trove of operational know-how to the mix.
The magic of this new steakhouse will be in its fantastic blend of upscale dining with a comfortable atmosphere. The founders are determined to create a modern twist on the classic steakhouse experience that everyone can enjoy. Imagine stepping into a spacious main dining room that feels both elegant yet relaxed, perfect for casual meals or special celebrations. For those looking for a bit more privacy, there will be a dedicated private dining area. Plus, what could be better than enjoying a meal outdoors? The restaurant will feature year-round outdoor seating to soak in Lexington’s lovely weather!
Prepare to tantalize your taste buds with a menu that sounds absolutely mouthwatering! Signature offerings will include hand-cut steaks, homemade pasta, and fresh seafood. You can also expect a rotating selection of seasonal dishes that showcase the high-quality ingredients sourced from local producers. As the restaurant undergoes renovations, the partners are committed to preserving the building’s historic charm. They are working closely with Boyer Construction to ensure everything retains its beautiful, original essence while being updated for a modern dining experience. Ashley Scott St. John from 1×1 Design is on board to create a stunning interior that will make dining here a memorable occasion.
