He then became the first Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Associate Provost at the University of South Carolina, making waves in advancing diversity and inclusion.
A Life of Accomplishments
This distinguished leader also boasts several accolades, including the Richard A. Rempel Faculty Award in 2016 and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from South Carolina State University in 2015. He serves on notable boards, including Historic Columbia and the EdVenture Children’s Museum, and is currently part of the Boston Arts Academy Foundation Board and the MIT Press Management Board.
