Batesburg-Leesville’s Heartwarming Parade
The cozy town of Batesburg-Leesville will kick off the holiday festivities with their enchanting Christmas parade on Thursday, December 5 at 5:15 p.m. This year’s theme is all about community with “Love Your Neighbor.” The parade will glide through the charming streets, ending at the bustling Batesburg Business District. Blythewood Gets Ready to Celebrate
Over in Blythewood, excitement is brewing for the town’s annual Christmas Parade scheduled for December 8 at 2 p.m. (and yes, it’ll happen rain or shine!). The parade will weave its way through Main Street, Blythewood Road, and Boney Road. Remember, it’s best to grab your parking spot before 1 p.m. to secure that perfect viewing position!
Cayce is a Winter Wonderland
Cayce is bursting with holiday activities this December! It all starts with the Christmas tree lighting at city hall on Thursday, December 5 at 6 p.m. There will be dazzling lights, festive music, and yes, Santa will be there too! Then, on Friday, December 6 from 6-8 p.m., enjoy “Carols Along the Riverwalk.” Stroll along sipping hot cocoa while listening to beautiful carolers. Sounds like the perfect evening!
And there’s more! On December 7, visit the Cayce Historical Museum for “Christmas Traditions: Olde & New.” Each room will be adorned with stunning Christmas trees and festive crafts throughout history. Plus, there will be fun light refreshments, lantern tours, live music, and a holiday market!
Chapin’s Old Timey Christmas
Chapin’s fourth annual Old Timey Christmas on December 14 from 5-8 p.m. This will take place on Beaufort Street, where you’ll find holiday shopping, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, storytelling, live music, and activities for the little ones! Be sure to stick around for the town’s tree lighting at 7:30 p.m. It’s sure to be a night filled with laughter and joy!
Columbia’s Holiday Market and Parade
Don’t forget about Columbia! The Junior League of Columbia is all set to host its exciting holiday market at the state fairgrounds from December 5-8. Get your shopping done while supporting local vendors! Also, mark your calendars for the Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade on December 7, themed “A Carolina Christmas.” What a perfect way to soak in the holiday spirit!
Irmo Lights the Tree
In Irmo, the community is invited to the annual Christmas tree lighting at Irmo Town Park on Tuesday, December 3 at 6 p.m.. Expect pizza, hot chocolate, cookies, and some delightful music from school choirs and bands. And yes, Santa will be making a grand entrance!

Are you in Lexington? Swing by for the town’s Carolighting Ceremony on December 6 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Icehouse Amphitheater. Food will be available, and Santa will be visiting!
