Among them is Marcus Bradley, a sophomore from Hammond, who boasts a remarkable average of 36 in nine-hole matches and 71 in 18-hole matches. He finished fourth in the South Carolina Independent Schools Association (SCISA) 4A golf championship, solidifying his place among the region’s elite golfers.
Another standout is Nathanael Caughman, a senior at River Bluff. Caughman recorded a 74.9 scoring average during the season and achieved runner-up status in the Class 5A Division I championship. His performance played a significant role in helping River Bluff secure their first state title, and he has been selected for the North-South All-Star matches. He committed to Columbia International University, making plans for his collegiate golf career.
Charles Cauthen, the other Co-Player of the Year, had an impressive season with a scoring average of 71.6. Cauthen is currently ranked sixth in the South Carolina Junior Golf Association rankings and will be playing for the University of Kentucky in the coming years.
Teddy Dunn from Gray Collegiate also made an impact this season with a scoring average of 72. He was a medalist in the Class 4A Lower State championship, where he finished 10th at the state tournament. Dunn has signed to play at Mercer University, furthering his golf career at the collegiate level.
Harrison James, also a senior, had an outstanding season with a scoring average of 72.2. He was a medalist in four tournaments, including the Region 4-5A championship, and recorded an impressive 7-under 65 at the Class 5A Division II Lower State. He finished ninth at the state championship and is ranked ninth in the South Carolina Junior Golf Association. James has signed to play at Coastal Carolina University.

Dylan Leicht from Lexington has a nine-hole scoring average of 37.1 and tied for 13th at the Class 5A Division I state championship while being a North-South All-Star selection. Grant Paolucci from Blythewood had a scoring average of 73 and was a co-medalist at the Class 5A Division I Upper State championship, finishing 11th at the state championship. He, too, has been selected for the North-South All-Star team and will be heading to Army after graduation.
Other notable players recognized include James Rhodes (AC Flora), Brady Senn (Gilbert), John Thompson (Spring Valley), and Howie Vroon (River Bluff), all of whom made significant contributions to their teams. Vroon was key in River Bluff’s championship run, finishing sixth at the Class 5A championship, while Senn tied for medalist honors in the Region 4-4A tournament.
