In recent developments, authorities in Lexington County, South Carolina, have announced the arrest of two individuals suspected of a couple of fatal shootings in 2023.
In a briefing conducted early Saturday morning, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department publicized the apprehension of Allon Triante Adams, a 22-year-old male, and his 19-year-old female accomplice, Cady Elise Keener. They stand accused of the shooting and subsequent murder of two men in separate incidents throughout the previous year.
The suspects are currently in custody, facing multiple charges, including two counts each of murder and armed robbery. In addition, they are being axed with criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and desecration of human remains.
According to Sheriff Jay Koon, the unfortunate victims of Adams and Keener’s crimes were murdered during two separate armed robberies. The first incident, which took place on Kestrel Drive in Leesville, occurred on November 28 and resulted in the death of Devon Tricoche.
Authorities have determined that, following the crime, Adams and Keener moved the deceased’s body from the scene of the shooting and dumped it at an Edisto River boat landing situated in Aiken County.
In a separate but equally horrifying crime, the duo also shot and killed Tony Etheridge Jr. while attempting to rob him on December 30 on Parrish Road in Leesville. Just like the previous case, the suspect duo discarded Etheridge’s body after the crime, this time deposited in Black Creek. The investigators discovered Etheridge’s remains last Friday, the Sheriff confirmed.
Keener and Adams are currently residing in the Lexington County Detention Center, having been recently arrested on additional undisclosed charges.
In an attempt to collect as much info as possible and ensure justice for the victims, Sheriff Koon has requested residents to come forth with any additional data related to either case. He suggested contacting the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department directly, or utilizing the Crimestoppers mobile app to provide anonymous information that could potentially lead to a cash reward.
Any possible errors in the information conveyed within the article should be reported immediately upon recognition.
