Meet the New Leaders!
First up, we have Jose Becerra, who has been promoted to *senior detention deputy – transport*. Jose has been a part of the detention team since 2022. Congratulations to him on stepping up to his new role!
Another exciting promotion goes to Trevor Campbell, who has earned the title of *master detention deputy*. Trevor joined the detention team just last year and has already proven he’s ready for this distinguished role. Right alongside him is Patton Gossett, who has also made the leap to *master detention deputy*. Patton has been a dedicated detention deputy since 2023, and we can’t wait to see what he’ll accomplish next!
Additionally, Brittany Sawyer has stepped into the role of *senior detention deputy – transport* from her previous position as a detention deputy since 2019, and this is another remarkable advancement worth celebrating!

Our schools are in good hands with the promotions of Ryan Cubbage and Eric Grenis to *school resource officers*. Both have been serving diligently as patrol deputies; Ryan joined the field in 2023, while Eric has been on patrol since 2024. Taylor Sebben also took a big step up as he transitions to a *K-9 handler* from his role as a resident deputy in Dixiana since 2020. We can’t wait to see the work these teams will undertake together!
A Security Update
A variety of items were recovered during this search, including stolen goods like a rifle, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and an impressive **$43,000 in cash**. Among those arrested are individuals of different ages, including two teenagers. This emphasizes the ongoing issue of drug-related activities affecting our younger population.
