While trying to reattach the trailer with the help of another person, a passing vehicle struck the loose trailer, which then hit Eason. The incident led to Eason’s immediate death on the scene.
According to the initial reports, the two occupants of the vehicle that hit the loose trailer have been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The person who was assisting Eason at the time of the accident was also taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
