Man Charged with Accessory After the Fact in Johnston Slaying
A Gruesome Crime in Johnston
In an unsettling development, a man has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder in connection with a deadly early March shooting in Johnston, South Carolina. Anthony Lee Fletcher, 58, was charged on Wednesday. Fletcher was subsequently booked into the Edgefield County Detention Center. The information release indicates that there are others implicated in the case.
A Second Man Charged
On March 29, authorities charged a second man in relation to the shooting. Quenell Marquis Anderson, 37 was charged with murder, the officers reported. Anderson was apprehended in Upper Marlboro, Maryland with help from the Maryland State Police and the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Another Involved Individual
In an earlier charge, Roscoe Pough Jr, 37, was accused of being an accessory after the fact to murder on March 4. Local law enforcement agencies drafted in the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division on March 2 following the multiple gunshot death of Ricky Martin Jr, 35, at an apartment complex on May Street in Johnston.
The Crime Scene and the Capture
Anderson is accused of shooting Martin multiple times with a firearm, declarations in the warrant state. After the alleged shooting, Anderson was reportedly seen entering Pough’s 2022 Chevrolet Avalanche and departing from the crime scene based on video footage. Pough was also admitted into the Edgefield County Detention Center.
Anderson is currently housed in the Newberry County Detention Center after he was processed at the Edgefield County Detention Center. The case has been presented to the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office for prosecution.
