On the hardwood, Mayer Lutheran defeated West Lutheran in a close match, ending with a score of 82-76. It was a nail-biter that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer.
In another metropolitan area showdown, Albany cruised past SW Christian with a convincing score of 69-51. Anoka had a close call against Edina, prevailing with a narrow victory of 66-65. Benilde-St. Margaret’s put on an impressive performance, beating Shakopee 85-59.
Meanwhile, Champlin Park defeated Farmington 67-54, and Chaska edged past Lakeville South with a score of 73-67. Cretin-Derham Hall kept their winning streak alive, defeating Alexandria 77-71 in a competitive game.
Notably, Holy Angels and Minneapolis Roosevelt faced off in an intense game that ended with Holy Angels just clinching victory at 88-86.
