In cities across the nation, high school athletes have been lighting up the scoreboard and making headlines with their incredible performances during the week of November 4-10. As the fall sports season heats up, fans have the opportunity to vote for their favorite High School Boys Athlete of the Week. Voting is open until Monday, November 18 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time).
This week saw some outstanding achievements from players in various sports. For instance, Afman from Trinity Academy delivered a stunning performance, scoring a hat trick to help his team seize the Class 4-1A state championship with a thrilling 4-3 win over Rose Hill. In another exciting football matchup, Boast from Church Point ran for an impressive 303 yards and four touchdowns, leading his team to a 55-28 victory against Ville Platte.
Meanwhile, Caudill showcased his versatility by compiling 380 yards of total offense and scoring seven touchdowns—five rushing and two passing—in a decisive 49-29 win over Rocky River. Not to be outdone, Crowley put on a catching clinic with 10 receptions for 198 yards and five touchdowns in a commanding 63-34 victory of Bend.
Fekitoa had a standout game with over 200 yards of total offense, finding the end zone five times as Bountiful edged Maple Mountain in a close 42-35 match. On the defensive side, White-Tinsley intercepted three passes and had eight tackles, contributing significantly to his team’s 45-14 victory over Hereford.
The competition is fierce, but every nomination matters. If you want to support your favorite athlete, head to social media and cast your vote. Remember, many votes can be submitted, but automated voting systems are a big no-no!
