In Region II Area games, De Soto secured a convincing victory against Wylie East with a final score of 51-17. Meanwhile, Port Neches-Groves triumphed over Kaufman with a solid score of 42-21. The night was equally dominating for Cibolo Steele, who crushed PSJA with 63-12.
In Region IV, Austin Vandegrift showed their strength by shutting out Sotomayor with a score of 51-0. Boerne also enjoyed a comfortable win against Edcouch-Elsa, finishing with 38-3. SA Alamo Heights had a high-scoring game, beating Mercedes 75-14.
From Region III, the game between A&M Consolidated and Galveston Ball was a nail-biter, ending at 10-3. In a different matchup, Tyler Chapel Hill dominated Worthing with a score of 49-24.
Over in Region I, Canyon Randall edged out Andrews by just a few points, winning 42-36. Meanwhile, Stephenville picked up an easy win over Hereford with 35-7.
In other notable games, Franklin took down Diboll 31-14 and Gordon shut out Menard at 48-0.
