High School Bowling Results from the Weekend
This weekend in Cincinnati, local high school bowling teams showed off their skills in several competitive matches. The results indicate a strong start for some teams in various leagues.
In the Greater Miami Conference, Oak Hills defeated Lakota East with a score of 1755 to 1695. The standout bowler for Oak Hills was Maness, who scored an impressive 319. This victory gives Oak Hills a record of 1-0 in the GMC, while Lakota East starts the season at 0-1.
In the Cincinnati Hills League, Reading faced off against Mariemont and came out on top with a score of 1678 to 1617. Chandler led Reading with a notable score of 340, bringing Reading’s record to 1-0, while Mariemont falls to 0-1.
Moving to another match, Lebanon triumphed over Little Miami with a decisive score of 2095 to 1685. Fields scored a strong 325, helping Lebanon to a solid start with a record of 1-0 as Little Miami begins with 0-1.
Walnut Hills also proved dominant, finishing their match against Purcell Marian with a score of 2068 to 1445. Williams stood out with a remarkable 474 points, setting Walnut Hills at 1-0 and sending Purcell Marian to 0-1.
In another matchup, Reading once again showcased their talent, taking on Mariemont for a second time and winning 2280 to 1956. Massey was the top performer for Reading with a score of 361. Reading continues its streak at 1-0 in CHL matches while Mariemont sits at 0-1.
Lebanon had another successful outing against Little Miami, ending with a final score of 2674 to 2512. Alvear’s score of 457 led Lebanon to another victory, making their record 1-0, while Little Miami remains 0-1.
Lastly, Walnut Hills faced Purcell Marian yet again, securing a solid 2309 to 1574 win. Johnson led his team with a score of 392, leaving Walnut Hills with a record of 1-0 and Purcell Marian at 0-1.
