In the Open Division quarterfinals, Hamilton secured a win against Marana with a final score of 31 to 22. Liberty dominated Higley, finishing strong with a score of 64 to 26. The game between ALA Queen Creek and Desert Mountain was closely contested, but ALA Queen Creek came out on top with 20 to 14. Basha also had an impressive performance, defeating Horizon 36 to 14.
In the 6A quarterfinals, Brophy showcased their strength, beating Perry 31 to 13. Mesa Mountain View had a dominant win against Salpointe Catholic, finishing 41 to 10. Centennial won against Casteel with a score of 37 to 14, while Queen Creek edged out Pinnacle in a close game, winning 37 to 28.
Turning to the 5A quarterfinals, ALA Gilbert North dominated Campo Verde, finishing 42 to 7. Cactus overcame Raymond S. Kellis with a convincing score of 21 to 6. Verrado took down Buena 41 to 26, and Desert Edge secured their win against Tucson, 30 to 14.
In the 4A quarterfinals, Yuma Catholic defeated Walden Grove 28 to 13. Mica Mountain had a substantial win over Thunderbird, finishing 38 to 14. Snowflake showed their power with a huge victory against Prescott, 49 to 13, and Arizona College Prep dominated Arcadia, ending with 35 to 14.
Looking ahead to the semifinals, the 3A semifinals will feature Pusch Ridge against Benjamin Franklin at Mesa High, scheduled for 6 p.m. Thatcher will face ALA West Foothills at 2 p.m. In the 2A semifinals, Scottsdale Christian is set to meet San Tan Charter at 6 p.m., while Pima will take on Tonopah Valley at 2 p.m. on the same day at Westwood High.
