High School Sports Recap: Oconto Falls, New London, Denmark, and More
In Oconto Falls, the Foxes took a narrow win over the Panthers, finishing with a score of 54-58. Graham Feidt led the Foxes with an impressive 21 points, while Lucas Papendorf chipped in with 10 points. The team created an advantageous lead by halftime, going into the break with an eight-point advantage. On the other side, Evan Yuma shined for the Panthers, scoring 19 points, supported by J.J. Pytleski with 10 points.
In New London, Cooper Effa and Trevor Verhagen both scored 13 points to lead Little Chute past New London with a final score of 49-46. The Mustangs trailed by one at halftime but made a solid comeback in the second half. Joseph Daly was the standout for the Bulldogs with 15 points.
The action continued in Denmark as the Irish showed off their skills on the court, with Drew Kortz and Kaden Vandenberg both scoring 23 points in a convincing win over the Vikings. Freedom’s Donovan Davis added 16 points to help enhance the team’s solid performance.
In Seymour, the Thunder rolled to a commanding victory over Clintonville, clocking in at 81-55. Jordan Krause was on fire, scoring 22 points, while Kyler Marks and Isaac Feske also contributed with 15 and 12 points, respectively. For Clintonville, Sam Wegener led the charge with 23 points.
Finally, in Manitowoc, the Jets claimed a solid victory against the Lions, finishing at 64-51. Donovan Cowley led Roncalli with 22 points, focusing most of his energy in the first half with 18 points. The Lions’ Owen Krepline scored 20 points, but it wasn’t enough to catch up with the Jets.
