Appleton – The Kimberly Papermakers showcased their dominance on the court with a decisive victory over the Appleton West Terrors, finishing with a score of 84-61. The Papermakers had a strong first half, building a 17-point lead, thanks in part to four players scoring at least six points. Leading the charge was Ben Grabner with 21 points. Landen Van Offeren followed with 16 points, while Mikey Wildes contributed 10 points.
Appleton West’s Reid Hinkens managed to score 15 points, with Braylon Ise and Kyle Bennett adding 13 and 10 points respectively. The Papermakers improved their overall record to 6-0 and 4-0 in the Fox Valley Association.
Neenah also secured a win against Kaukauna, taking the match with a score of 66-56. Joey Daun led the Rockets with 17 points while Benjy Bell had a strong performance, contributing 13 points all in the second half. Kaukauna’s Keegan VanKauwenberg scored 22 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Neenah’s advantage.
In other matches, Freedom had a solid win over Panthers with Donovan Davis scoring 27 points, supported by Drew Kortz with 20 points. Meanwhile, Fox Valley Lutheran edged out Denmark 72-63 with Lucas Papendorf leading the Foxes with 25 points.
Wrightstown scored a season-high 80 points against Clintonville, with Ethan Cyra leading the way with a career-high 33 points. The Tigers controlled the game throughout, making it a comfortable victory.
On the girls’ side, Hortonville put on an impressive display against Fond du Lac, winning 90-37 with Rainey Welson scoring 23 points.
