Today marks a wonderful milestone in our charming city as Hattieās Crossing was officially dedicated at a ceremony held at 4:00 p.m. Located at 800 Lexington Avenue, this event highlights the strong partnerships within our community, involving local entities like Lexington School District Two, the Greater CWC Chamber & Visitorās Center, and Cypress Real Estate Partners.
Celebrating Our Roots
Tim James, the Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Cayce and also the President of the Chamber of Commerce, expressed his excitement. āAs a prior student of Cayce Grammar, I am thrilled to see the history of our beloved school memorialized,ā he said. With a big smile, he also shared his views on the community’s growth, saying, āWe are welcoming new families to our community while celebrating our roots!ā

The dedication honors Hattie Derrenbacher, a dedicated educator who left a lasting impact on the students of Lexington School District Two.
