South Carolina is 16-5 on the season and 8-4 in conference play. The Gamecocks are 4-3 when playing on the road this season. The Gators are 14-7 this season with a 10-2 mark in SEC play. They are 8-1 on their home courts and enter the competition on a nine-match win streak. Five Gators are in the ITA singles rankings, with Rachel Gailis leading at No. 11. Gailis has a strong record of 19-5 overall and 13-4 in dual matches.
In the doubles rankings, Alicia Dudeney and Malwina Rowinska come in at No. 45, boasting a perfect 5-0 record together from the top of the lineup.
Florida leads the all-time series 48-5. The two teams first met in 1979, with the Gators winning 5-4. South Carolina’s last win of the series was a 4-1 victory in 2021 in Columbia. Under head coach Kevin Epley, South Carolina is 3-9 against Florida.
