Exciting Fall Plant and Flower Festival Coming to West Columbia!

Hey there, West Columbia! Are you ready for a fun fall experience? The leaves might not have started changing colors just yet, but the cooler weather is on its way, and so is the much-anticipated South Carolina State Farmers Market’s annual Fall Plant and Flower Festival! Mark your calendars for October 4th through 6th, because you won’t want to miss this fantastic event.

What to Expect

The festival is set to kick off on Friday, October 4, and will run through Sunday, October 6. Each day offers a unique opportunity to dive into the charm of fall, with shopping hours spanning from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, then adjusting to 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. That gives you plenty of time to explore all the goodies!

Located at the South Carolina State Farmers Market, at 3483 Charleston Hwy., this community gem will host a wide range of vendors eager to showcase their seasonal offerings. You’ll find beautifully arranged fall plants and flowers that will add a splash of color to your home and garden. Plus, if pumpkins are on your list—get excited!—there will be plenty for you to choose from to decorate and celebrate the season.

Something for Everyone!

This festival isn’t just for plant lovers. Visitors can expect to find a delightful assortment of home, yard, and garden décor, along with various crafts that can make great gifts or personal treasures. And let’s not forget about the delicious Certified SC Grown fall produce available from local farmers! It’s a wonderful way to support our community and eat fresh.

Need Help? Master Gardeners are Here!

For those of you looking to brush up on your gardening skills, don’t worry! Master Gardeners will be available on-site throughout the weekend to answer any burning questions you may have about fall planting. Their expertise is invaluable, especially for those of us who might need a little help getting our green thumbs ready for the season.

Admission and Logistics

The best part? Admission and parking for the festival are entirely free! That’s right, folks. No ticket prices or parking fees, making it accessible for everyone in the family. One note to consider—while wagons will be available on a first come, first serve basis to help you tote your treasures, it might be a good idea to bring your own wagon if you have one. Trust us, you’ll want to load up on all the beauty this festival has to offer!

Get Picture-Perfect Memories!

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just out for a leisurely stroll, the Fall Plant and Flower Festival promises to provide a lovely atmosphere for all attendees. It’s a perfect chance to take some beautiful photos among the flowers and foliage, so be sure to have your phone or camera ready!
