Notably, Lakeridge defeated Wells 4-2, and Grant edged past West Linn in a thrilling penalty shootout after a 2-2 tie. Franklin’s victory over Sherwood with a score of 2-1 advanced them into the quarterfinals, highlighting their strong season as they now prepare to face McMinnville this Saturday.
Other notable playoff results included Jesuit defeating Westview 6-1 and Lincoln moving forward after a close 3-2 victory over South Eugene in overtime. As the state quarterfinals approach, teams will be looking to make their mark and continue their postseason journey.
