Denmark Wins Golf Team Title
DE PERE – The girls’ golf teams put on a thrilling show at Mid Vallee Golf Course, where Denmark clinched the team title with a score of 406, just two strokes ahead of Freedom at 408. Winneconne finished in third place with a score of 413, while Little Chute followed closely behind at 419.
The standout of the day was Kay Lee McClintock from Freedom, who earned individual medalist honors after shooting an impressive 91. Denmark’s Whitney Derricks also had a notable performance, finishing with a score of 99.
Besides the team performances, several individuals qualified for the upcoming sectional meet, including Caroline Vanden Heuvel of Xavier, Callaway Goodman of Kiel, and Amelia Eiting of Little Chute, all of whom will try to advance further in the postseason play. The sectional meet will take place on October 8 at Crystal Springs in Seymour.
